Distinctive, recognizable and hi-tech. These were the key words given by the client in their brief for this bicycle shelter, an ideal opportunity to strengthen TU Delft’s progressive image and reputation for innovation.
Active force and moment diagrams inspired the basis for this design. These graphic concepts provided the inspiration for the form of the roof.
Every detail is resolved with care and attention and informs the overall construction. The choice of materials strengthens the concept. Spark sourced suitable suppliers for parts and materials to realise the design.
