Spark has developed the PhoneFriend for Flextars. It's a multifunctional accessory for cell phones and other mobile devices. The PhoneFriend functions as a stand and facilitates the showing of photos or movies on the screen of a cell phone.
The ideal stand
The PhoneFriend comprises three plastic components that are hinged together by a simple metal frame. This can be folded flat and is easy to carry. By folding out all the parts, the PhoneFriend transforms into an ideal stand for looking at movies or photos. The cell phone is tilted at the optimum viewing angle and sits on your desk or on a fold-down table in the train or plane. It's also handy for a camera or iPod!
Complete
As well as the presentation potential, the PhoneFriend is also incredibly handy for charging the telephone. There's a gap in the back of the PhoneFriend that fits precisely over a plug socket. In this way, you can wedge the PhoneFriend between the socket and the plug of your charger. By wrapping the wire around the frame of the PhoneFriend, everything is neatly tidied away and there are no dangling wires to trip over.
Spark was responsible for the complete product development of the PhoneFriend: from the conceptualisation, material choice and engineering to the prototyping, finding the right production partners and the production management - everthing in consultation with the client, over course.
