At Spark we’re always excited to welcome new talent and fresh perspectives into our team. This summer, we’re joined by Ethan Angus, who brings along a mix of creativity and technical skill.

Ethan joined Spark already equipped with strong sketching skills, alongside experience in SolidWorks and the Adobe Suite. At Spark, he’s eager to dive deeper into prototyping and see how all the elements of product development come together in practice.

When asked what he wants to learn, Ethan says he’s interested in getting better at recognizing what’s truly critical in product development. He knows that some projects may fail—whether inside or outside of your control—but believes that by focusing on the right things at the right time, you can make ideas work.

Originally from Toronto, Ethan is studying Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. During his internship with us, he’s been working on a variety of assignments—from thermal testing and mould design to mechanical mock-ups—always with a clear focus on how ideas turn into working products.

Curious and ambitious, Ethan is currently traveling the world to learn from different approaches to design, with the goal of returning home to Toronto to start his own product design company where everything he has experienced and learned can come together.
