How to successfully grow a hardware startup?

We are excited to announce our partnership with Upstream. We believe Upstream Festival is a key player for the thriving innovation ecosystem in Greater Rotterdam. It is the space for startups and scaleups to make connections they need, to thrive and build companies that change the world for the better. Since the first edition in 2020 Upstream has welcomed more than 12.000 startups, scaleups, investors, buyers and other changemakers from across Europe. The Rotterdam based festival is the place to be to connect startups & scaleups with investors.

Spark is the engine for startups, scaleups and investors to accelerate breakthrough designs and innovations to the market. We support start-ups on both strategic and creative levels, guiding them from the first ideas all the way to a successful product launch.

We are working with a selection of startups as an investor next to our role as a product development partner. We support promising hardware startups with investments up to 250k and support them to get to the next investment round. This year, we work with Upstream Festival to get in touch with promising hardware startups as an investor.

Therefore, we organise a side event on May 21, 2025 from 15:00 to 16:30 at our office, where we’ll share our insights on how to successfully grow a hardware start-up. We will have two CEO’s of startups sharing their experience and share more about our value as an investor for startups. Want to join us? Sign up at info@sparkdesign.nl.

Also we are active as an investor during the main event in the afternoon of May 22 at an investor booth. So you can talk to us directly at the booth or make an appointment via the online platform. We hope to see you at Upstream 2025!
