The life size Spark Action Hero packaging was a huge success at the recent Industrial Design Engineering Business Fair (IOB) run by the Technical University Delft. Thanks to this attention-grabber there was a constant flow of students to our booth. Everybody wanted to be photographed as the Spark Action Hero wearing the hip designer glasses.
The Spark-designed products ClearReader+, the Holmatro winches and the water bottles for the Olympic Games were attracting a lot of attention too. Many students let us know that they thought Spark was an incredibly fun and inspirational design office, ideal for an internship or graduation placement, or to come and work as a permanent or freelance colleague after graduation.
Our Carver One, which we set up next to the entrance in the hall, also pulled a big crowd. It was photographed from all sides and lots of people moved directly from the Carver on to our neighbouring booth.
All those students who registered to follow our Twitter account ‘SparkStudent', automatically entered a lottery to win one of two rides in the Carver One.
The lucky winners were the Industrial Design students Robert Tinke and Roy Bosch. Both were taken separately for an exciting tour and they also got a chance to drive this unique tilting vehicle for themselves.
