Improved workflow trough UX UI design

From workflow to interface

You can invest heavily in developing a product that fits your brand and users, down to the smallest detail. Yet the moment a digital interface comes into play, that experience can either hold up or fall apart.

Physical product design and digital design are often seen as two separate things. The digital experience is not something you quickly design after you’re done with the product design. It should be designed simultaneously. Since it impacts how your product is perceived and how it performs in daily use. A well-designed interface follows the logic of the user’s workflow. It gives users clarity at every step and limits mistakes. Which has a direct effect on cost, efficiency and reliability.

Supporting the workflow of medical specialists

Stronger brand image

Seeing before surgery

With 2EyesVision, we worked on a product that changes how patients approach eye surgery. The wearable device allows them to experience the medical results before the procedure takes place. A strong concept, built on advanced technology.

But in practice, the product is only as effective as the tools around it. For specialists, the user interface makes the difference in how efficient they can work.

Through the eyes of the specialist

The SimVis Gekko app gives medical specialists real-time insight into what the patient sees. At the same time, it supports them in configuring lens combinations and reviewing patient data. At the end of a session, it delivers a clear report that helps determine the right lens choice. The app ensures a more controlled process.

From complexity to clarity

To get to an interface that performs in practice, we started with the workflow of the medical specialist. We mapped out a clear user flow that supports each step in the process.

From there, we analysed the existing 2EyesVision app and identified where there was room for improvements in both UX and UI. Those insights shaped a new structure, translated into an optimized flow, wireframes and visual design for every screen.

The power of integrated design

A digital interface is a key touchpoint of your product. It directly reflects your brand. A clear and consistent visual identity helps users understand the product faster and work with it more effectively. On top of that, when done right, it builds a stronger brand image.

For 2EyesVision, we created a design that aligns with the specialist’s workflow across both the physical product and the digital interface.
